About Our Pack
Pack 82 is sponsored by the Holy Spirit Men’s Club and is part of the Northern Star Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The meetings are located at Holy Spirit Church on the southeast corner of Randolph Ave and Albert St (515 Albert Street South, Saint Paul, MN 55116).
Cub Scouts who cross the bridge to become Boy Scouts, then have the opportunity to earn their Eagle Rank. Holy Spirit has a Boy Scout Troop 82 where many scouts continue their scouting journey. Since Troop 82 began, over 90 scouts from the troop have earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

CUB SCOUT LEVELS
There are several levels of Cub Scouts. The two most important are the Dens and the Pack. While showing up to the various gatherings is important, 100% attendance is not required because the main goal of cub scouts is having fun, making strong friendships, and learning new things.
Dens
Each Den is made up of scouts from the same grade. They meet once or twice a month along with special field trips during the year. There are typically 5-12 boys in a den. There are five levels:
- Kindergarten – Lion cubs
- First Grade – Tiger cubs
- Second Grade – Wolf cubs
- Third Grade – Bear cubs
- Fourth Grade – Webelos I
- Fifth Grade – Webelos II till February, then they transition to boy scouts
Pack
The Pack is all the dens combined and usually meets monthly along with various other activities scattered throughout the year. Our pack has between 30-40 boys.
